Job Description:
Franklin Templetons Digital Assets Technology group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager. The Product Manager will oversee and drive the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives related to products and platforms within the rapidly evolving digital asset ecosystems. This role will focus on bridging traditional finance and blockchain-enabled investment solutions, developing products that leverage tokenization, distributed ledger technology (DLT), and other digital asset innovations to enhance client outcomes and operational efficiency. This role requires a unique blend of financial services experience, emerging technology fluency, and disciplined project management. This role is ideal for a seasoned project leader with a passion for emerging technologies and a proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs in a fast-paced environment with a changing regulatory landscape.
Daily Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Development: Manage end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch for digital assets and blockchain based investment products and platforms.
Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the central liaison and SME between executive sponsors and collaborate with technology, product, operations, compliance, and business teams to align project goals with organizational strategy.
Strategic Program Management: Create, lead, define and maintain product roadmaps, milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics.
Risk & Issue Management: Work with legal and compliance to ensure adherence to evolving global digital asset and securities regulations and identify project risks and dependencies early, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate critical issues as needed.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Market Analysis and Innovation: Monitor digital asset market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making.
What ideal qualifications would help someone be successful?
Bachelors Degree in Business, finance or related field; or 10 years of demonstrated work experience
5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in financial services or technology domains.
Demonstrated experience with digital asset products, tokenization, blockchain infrastructure, or DLT-based platforms.
Understanding institutional-grade digital custody, AML/KYC processes, and regulatory considerations related to digital assets (e.g., SEC, FINRA, MiCA).
Understanding Agile/SCRUM methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with emerging technologies.
Proven ability to translate complex technical and regulatory concepts into business opportunities.
Job Requirements:
PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master certification.
Experience with product development in tokenized funds, digital asset trading, or on-chain fund administration.
Knowledge of DeFi concepts, Web3 infrastructure, and interoperability protocols.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks related to digital assets and financial technology.
Compensation:
We expect the annual salary for this position to range between $122,000- $166,000 depending on location and level of relevant experience, plus discretionary bonus.
