Job Description:
MKDA is seeking a Project Manager to join our Stamford, CT studio. The Project Manager will help guide project teams throughout each phase of a project, with primary responsibility for technical documentation, consultant coordination, and construction administration. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks while balancing detailed documentation with broader project delivery goals. Must currently reside in the Connecticut/ NY Tri-State Area or be willing to relocate.
Daily Responsibilities:
Create construction documents, including drafting and detailing
Coordinate with consultants and internal team members throughout all project phases
Perform construction administration, including shop drawing and submittal review
Conduct field surveys and prepare field reports
Attend field and coordination meetings and support overall team communication
Ensure quality completion of deliverables on time and on budget
Assist in monitoring contract compliance and execution
Participate in programming, visioning, and site assessment tasks
Job Requirements:
B.Arch or M.Arch with a minimum of five years experience in interior architecture, corporate interiors preferred
Strong knowledge of technical design and construction drawing documentation and detailing
Experience coordinating consultants and contributing to construction administration
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with increasing responsibility in coordination and delivery
Must be highly proficient in AutoCAD and knowledge of Revit is a plus
SketchUp, Enscape, and other 3D modeling or visualization software preferred; Adobe Creative Suite a plus as well
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
Strong organization, team building, and relationship management skills
Must have experience working in and currently reside in the Connecticut area or be willing to relocate.
