Job Description:
The Transaction Advisory Services Deal Analytics Senior Associate will be responsible for building and maintaining analytics models for use on operational and financial due diligence engagements for both strategic and financial buyers throughout the USA.
Daily Responsibilities:
Builds analytics using dimensional data models and dashboards to assist clients in evaluating M&A decisions
Executes high complexity projects end- to-end, driving additional analysis where required
Correlates broader industry trends with the findings from the data using secondary research, third party databases and business knowledge
Contributes to the development of key analytics offerings, and drive increased adoption of analytics
Leads storyboarding and overall problem-solving approach to develop recommendations.
Quickly synthesizes information from disparate sources to support decision making
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics, required
Three (3) or more years of work experience in analytics with a strong knowledge of Power BI, Azure or other BI technology stack, required
Microsoft Power Platform Certifications, preferred
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Business Intelligence or Data Management and Analytics, preferred
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), preferred
Proficiency using Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack, preferred
SQL Server, SSMS, SSIS, SSAS, Apache Spark, Azure Data platform, preferred
Significant knowledge of T-SQL, preferred
High level of proficiency with DAX, preferred
Familiarity with python and R, preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Deep understanding of dimensional database structures and principals
Self-motivated learner who continually tracks new developments in the field
Ability to interact with and adapt communication style to successfully convey messaging and objectives to all levels of management
Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment either independently or within a team dynamic while effectively managing unexpected issues and/or questions in a professional manner
Ability to analyze large volumes of data to identify potential issues and propose the most appropriate resolutions to benefit the buyer
Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of information
Excellent project management skills with ability to produce quality work project with an attention to detail
Compensation:
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $115,000 - $125,000
