Job Description:

The Research & Strategic Support Intern provides research, organizational, and presentation support across the Media, Business Intelligence, and Sales teams. This role is designed for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can support analytics and commercial efforts through research, documentation, and preparation, without requiring technical analytics or coding expertise.

Daily Responsibilities:

Research & Market Intelligence Conduct background research on leagues, conferences, schools, events, brands, and media partners Compile competitive landscapes (who�s working with whom, recent deals, sponsorship trends) Gather publicly available data (attendance, viewership reports, press releases, media coverage) for internal use Support early-stage research for pitches, RFPs, and client conversations Business Intelligence Team Support (Non-Technical) Assist with data collection and organization (copying, organizing, validating inputs�not analysis or modeling) Help document assumptions, methodologies, and notes for analytics deliverables QA-check decks and spreadsheets for consistency, labeling, and clarity Translate analyst outputs into clean summaries, tables, and slides Sales & Business Development Support Build research briefs ahead of sales calls (client background, goals, recent news) Create prospect lists and maintain CRM-ready research notes Support pitch preparation by pulling examples, visuals, and reference materials Help track outreach efforts and follow-ups Presentation & Deliverables Support Assist with PowerPoint and Google Slides formatting Source visuals, logos, and supporting context for decks Ensure materials are polished, accurate, and client-ready

Job Requirements:

Strong research, organizational, and written communication skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Comfortable working with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office (Sheets/Excel, Slides/PowerPoint, Docs) Ability to follow structured processes and work independently once tasks are defined Interest in sports, media, analytics, or business strategy preferred
